So Bob, I decided to go back to your beginning here, to see where it starts. As I was scrolling I started to see all of this museum stuff. Besides our common interest in Duane & the ABB...there's this history/museum thing. Besides my doc projects, I'm mostly working with museums and history based organizations these days. The Hagerstown Aviation Museum is preparing to open soon and we've been working with the Liberty Ship SS John W Brown, the NS Savannah and the Pride of Baltimore II. We are trying to help wrangle a common dock space for the 3 ships.

Started working in the public sector in 1996 and museums in 1999, most of it in state and local history. Earned a master's (2002) and a PhD (2018) in history. It's why Play All Night is so grounded in place and context.

I NEED to order the book tonight. How do you make the most from the sale ? I'm in...

I'm working with several museums and historic ships that all need good interpretation. Anyone who loves Duane...gets it.

Which book are you talking about? If it's 'Play All Night!' best to go through Amazon. I need the algorithm clicks https://a.co/d/dXUGWYW. If it's 'An AASLH Guide,' probably cheapest to go through the publisher and use discount code RLFANDF30 https://rowman.com/ISBN/9781442264144

Play all Night. I just ordered it through my local bookstore...I like to see them get the biz. I went to Amazon and their "hoop jumping" frustrates me...I'm not a regular there.

fair enough. Unfortunately Amazon is where audiences find the book. But I'd just as soon you buy local.

I use Amazon as a last resort. You can't do book signings at Amazon. There is a Barnes & Noble near the Painters Mill location. But I have a real nice local bookstore near me, the Ivy. I'll encourage them to stock up when I go pick it up.
